Cool little hole in the wall spot in Castroville, TX. We stopped here for breakfast and left full and satisfied. great customer service endless coffee awesome green sauce breakfast/lunch/dinner menu reasonably priced We dined in and while we were there we seen many people pick up orders, so dine-in and pickup are available.
I don't know if it bothers you when you go out and spend money to enjoy a good dinner, but I prefer not to be starred at while trying to eat cold food. The waitress could use some better customer service.
This is a little place, be ready for the small space, the food was good, and actually food is ready fast. The observation about this place, is that there is only two people working there, the waitress and the owner in the kitchen. They are short of personal so be patient and mindful that not all the menu is available. The waitress may look a little rude but she is not, it's just a lot on her plate. Other than that their tex-mex food is good. We got 2 cheese enchilada plates, 1 torta de asada, green enchiladas, 1 papa chorizo cheese taco and one order of pancakes, and 3 drinks, $50 total.
This is a nice small place to eat. I had the steak and eggs plate and the steak was a little too well cooked and dry for my liking. But, overall I like the food and I would return.
I used to go to Andrea when it was in San Antonio. It was my go to place. They moved to Castroville a few years ago. I've gone there about 3× when I visit my brother in law. I still like their tacos and huevos rancheros plate.
Authentic as they come! It's like you are instantly transported back to your abuelita's house to eat her delicious food she made fresh just for you. As soon as we walked in, the aroma of enticing coffee filled the place. It's a family restaurant, which certainly makes you feel comfortable and important. The menudo sells out fast, so make sure you wake up extra early to get your order! p
Wow this place was super delicious! It’s actually my first time leaving a review at a restaurant, but the food was so good that I just had to. I’m really impressed. If you’re looking for a homemade, abuelita-style meal this is the place. Highly recommend!
